365 Plays/365 Days In November 2002, the Pulitzer prize-winning Suzan-Lori Parks sat down and committed to writing a play a day for the next 365 days. The world premiere of this play cycle will be performed as a yearlong national festival simultaneously in major cities and communities around the country. Nest Arts was chosen as one of the participating Los Angeles companies.
For 365-LA, Nest Arts collaborated with Gallery 727 to present Ms. Parks' plays interactively and site-specifically around the area of 7th and Spring Streets in downtown Los Angeles.
The performances began at the front of Gallery 727 and moved through the gallery area and outside to the sidewalk in front of the gallery during the performance.
